WPE 2024 European Photography Awards
The WPE 2024 European Photography Awards announced their Stage 3: End-of-Year results. This was my first effort entering images into their professional international competition. My images received 2 Gold, 14 Silver & 3 Bronze awards. My work placed 1st & 2nd in the Commercial Category and 1st & 3rd in the Food Category. I also received Top Honours for the Competition. My point total for the year landed me 19th Place in the Top 100.
The WPE European photography awards is judged by an international panel of photographic professionals from around the globe. Images are entered through categories, such as commercial, food or portrait. Awards are based on scores presented as points:
Bronze 80-85 — Silver 85-90 — Gold 90-95 — Platinum 95-100
Images can be awarded Category Winners, 1st, 2nd or 3rd (trophies) plus ranked at any level Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze.
Additionally, based on total points accumulated through their three different competitions throughout the whole year, a photographer is ranked in the Top 100 participating photographers.
